Power Couple Philanthropists
Intelius Incorporated, an information service provider, is a company that generously contributes to the community. Despite the global economic crisis in 2008, they have still continued their acts of charity by donating over $200,000 to a number of philanthropic organizations. This earned them recognition by the Puget Sound Business Journal as one of the 25 biggest corporations to have done humanitarian work.
Considering Intelius’ present successful status, it seems as though the company will continue their contributions in years to come. Its founder and CEO is Naveen Jain. His wife Anu functions as the company’s Community Relations’ Vice President.
Naveen Jain loyally partakes in groups and institutions that aim for humanitarianism motives. Born, raised and educated in India, he has seen the struggles of the less fortunate. Thus, it moves him to share and give back to his native country and to other people. Organizations such as Child Rights and You India, the Indian American Education Foundation and Vedic Cultural Center have been a few of the many benefactors of his philanthropic projects.
Although Naveen Jain’s wife, Anu, mostly studied in the United States, she also eagerly supports philanthropic endeavors made by Intelius. At present, she actively assists in the company’s obligations to many nonprofit associations that support healthcare, nutrition, education, family, and poverty issues.The couple’s leadership for charitable causes has made Intelius Inc. into a company that reaches out to the community through its established programs. One program lets employees get paid leaves for volunteering in eligible nonprofit groups. Another program matches up contributions given by the workers to qualified profitless clusters.
Movements aided by the corporation include Overlake Service League, Tree House, Seattle Children’s Hospital, Hopelink, Kindering Center, United Way of King County, Bellevue Boys and Girls Club and the Eastside Domestic Violence Center.
At present, Naveen and Anu are taking care of their three children; they are all residing in Bellevue, Washington.
