Place your lure in the palm of your hand and cup the hand over the lens. The lure will glow for hours with one blast of the light, but you might want to repeat this process every 30 minutes or so.

Some trout fishermen like to charge their luminous flies with a camera flash. If you have a small digital camera, be sure to keep it dry and secure. If it goes in the drink, kiss it goodbye.

The fundamental idea is to maintain the same lure action after dark during the day. Little flickers of yellow light are what draw a strike, so keep the lure in motion.
